This cutie’s mother was catching a plane to Africa right after our newborn photo session but we still managed to get some beautiful pictures!  I tried to implement some bright colors that would be mindful of her heritage and speak to her vibrant new future that awaits her here in America.  I even got a little carried away and broke out one of my more elaborate props… my hand-made flower hat!  I think it matches this lovely little newborn’s happy, hopeful face perfectly!  Newborn photography is all about accumulating various keepsakes and baby trinkets that may come in handy in a photo session someday.  Most all of the flowers and weaves you see the newborns wearing in my photos have natural and organic origins from right outside!  I added some freshly picked roses and peonies to this exquisite baby headdress!

It’s so rare that I get a boy!  Mason was the sweetest baby and as you can tell he was born into a Yankee family…!  Yikes!  Oh well, I guess he’ll have to learn how to be a Georgia fan, and from those good looks I can already see him on the field someday.  This little newborn is from right here in Sandy Springs and we’re proud to have him!natural lightserving metro atlantaatlanta family photographer

What a precious girl!  And just look at that beautiful head of hair this little newborn has!  Eleven days old, Tara was a delight to shoot and her dad couldn’t stop smiling throughout the photo session.

These two parents from Buckhead were a a delight to work with.  Bennett was a dream and spent a lot of time in front of the camera since we didn’t go the usual route with only newborn photos.  Mom was looking for something a bit more traditional without all the props and outfits and I did my best to accommodate.  As a result we were able to capture some great family photos with just the three of them.  But the star of the show, Bennett, came through like a champ with limited crying and even a few little smiles.newborn photographybuckhead ga

Arielle was dream newborn to work with.  Her parents are from right here in the Atlanta area and for this photo shoot I decided to break out the hanging basket and was able to capture some beautiful photos of the little one dreaming her first days away.
